MetaPaint Communications Design -- Who We Are

The simplest description of what we do is Communications Design. We make websites, posters, logos, brochures, newsletters, photographs and all kinds of techy art creations for print or web communications.

MetaPaint began in 2002 when demand for their collaborative services encouraged Jenny and Ryan to form a business where they could offer technological and sociological advances to people, ideas and movements they care about.

Ryan is a photographer/wanderer/designer with an MA in anthropology, currently working on his MA in fine arts photography. Jenny is an information junkie/traveler/mediast with a PhD in media psychology. A combined background in fine arts, media psychology, anthropology, journalism, information architecture, communication theory and photography has shaped the services and activities you find here.

In 2011 Jenny accepted a full-time position with Alaska Litho in Juneau, AK. Most MetaPaint services are still available by contacting Ryan, but on a limited basis with priority given to existing clients.

Involvement

We're involved in more than just the work above, we're also writers, photographers and members or supporters of lots of cool and exciting groups.
